Southern Highland Joint Fire District, formally known as Mowrystown Fire & Rescue, was formed in 2008. We serve the communities of the Village of Mowrystown, Whiteoak Township, and Concord township. Our department consists of proud volunteer members with certifications ranging from Volunteer Firefighter to Firefighter 2, and First Responder to Paramedic. Many members are residents of our coverage area, and enjoy taking care of those closest to us. We strive to do our best to be there in your time of need. We thank all of our community members who continue to support our department.
